The Sacramento Artists Council, Inc. in partnership with The Sacramento Press and Dad’s Kitchen (Freeport Location) is kicking-off its 1st Annual Slider Cook-off & Beer Tasting Fundraiser on Saturday, September 29th, 2012. Sacramento Sliders and Suds is a fundraiser for The Sacramento Artists Council and will raise money for art programs that assist at-risk children, children of homeless families and fund adopt a school art programs for Sacramento Regional Schools. Sacramento Sliders and Suds will feature a sliders cook off competition and unlimited beer tastings provide by local breweries. Confirmed breweries include 21st Amendment Brewery, Lost Coast Brewery, Ruth McGowan’s Brewpub, Speakeasy Ales & Lagers, Track 7 Brewing Co, Mad River Brewing Company, Sutter Buttes, Crazy Mountain, Sierra Nevada Brewing, River City Brewing Company, North Coast Brewing, Hoppy Brewing, Bison Organic Beers, American River Brewing, Firestone Walker Brewing, Boulder Beer, Lagunitas Brewing Company, Ale Industries and Oskar Blues Brewery. Cider options will be provided by Two Rivers Ciders and Crispin Cider.
Live music will include performances from As Yet Untitled and Pushtonawanda.
Please note that bike valet will be available (proceeds benefitting Sacramento Artists Council) and a Kids Zone with crafts and face painting (proceeds benefitting Theodore Judah Elementary School music programs) will be open for the duration of the event. Leashed dogs are allowed at Sacramento Sliders and Suds.
